The Rural Women Association have many planned out projects, that include awareness training and traditional handicrafts such as embroidery. The projects aim to empower the women of the rural West Bank communities and to give them a voice. They aim to give women and therefore their families an income, and to create brighter futures for the children of these unprivileged communities. All of the classes will be free of charge and will be taught by local women, some who despite having university degrees have a face difficulties on the job market.

The projects that the Rural Women Association are planning to run are:

  1. Apiaries
  2. Raising sheep for wool, yogurt, cheese
  3. Professional embroidery classes and producing embroidered merchandise
  4. Teaching women how to read and write Arabic
  5. Establishing a social work job
  6. Providing women and young men with English classes
  7. Math classes for children
  8. Community workshops in non-violence and self-care
